Characteristics of Lead and Sulfur Plasma Parameters by Optical Emission Spectroscopy

This study uses the optical emission spectroscopy (OES) technique to find lead(Pb) and sulfur (S) plasma parameters employing a pulse of Nd: YAG laser (Q-switched 1064nm wavelength) different energies (400,500,600 700 mJ). The electron temperature Te (eV) is calculated using Boltzmann-Plot method, density ne (cm-3)is determined by Stark broadened way. Moreover, Debye length ?D (cm) frequency ?p (Hz) are studied as function energy. An apparent increase was noted in lead decrease plasma. results also showed that each intensity causes an peaks. experiment carried out under atmospheric pressure.
